Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) air conditioning systems are a sophisticated form of HVAC technology, ideal for commercial applications as they’re refrigerant only systems, and much more efficient than traditional water cooled systems.
The VRF system automatically adjusts to outdoor conditions meaning they work only at the required rate, providing energy savings and reducing load conditions.
VRF systems use refrigerant as a heating and cooling medium, conditioned by an outdoor condensing unit which circulates to indoor units. They are also capable of modular expansion, meaning they can be scaled to suit the size of the project or facilities.
