Tasks and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to work in our business in Gisborne.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be a confident and competent team player with at least 3 years’ experience behind you. In addition, you will also have extended knowledge and experience in the Refrigeration industry.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

  • Installation, repairs, service and maintenance across various Refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Trouble shoot air conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and perform maintenance on refrigeration & air conditioning equipment.
  • Carry out routine checks and logs of the status of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
  • Collect data for job reports, assets reports, and quoting – ensure that all information and records are loaded on the job tracking system and/or company files.
  • Promptly complete all paperwork to a high standard (commission sheets, service sheets, check sheets).

 

About you

  • Qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer
  • Current Electrical Service Engineer Licence
  • Full NZ Drivers licence
  • Experience working within Health & Safety At Work Act 2015 guidelines
  • Industrial and commercial refrigeration and HVAC installation and maintenance and remedial work experience
  • Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines, plan, and prioritise
  • You must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident and reside in New Zealand
